Northern Kelp Crab

Sorry to disturb you! This Northern Kelp Crab was sitting so peacefully atop a rock studded with Orange Zoanthids (colonial anemone-like animals). But then . . . this underwater photographer came along. Knowing that I sometimes disrupt marine life when getting photos, adds to my drive to want these photos to count - to help inform, engage and lead to greater connection to and positive action for the life in our cold, dark life-sustaining Ocean. To help bring people into the depths . . . . yeah, that's it. Thank YOU for helping to make it count. Northern Kelp Crab - Pugettia producta; males to ~11 cm; females to ~9 cm. Orange Zoanthid - Epizoanthus scotinus; individual animals to 5 cm tall.
